Why consider a career in automotive reglazing?
Automotive reglazing is a specialized trade in a high demand field, which offers strong job security to experienced technicians. The length of time it takes to become a qualified auto glass technician is relatively short in comparison to other trade services and the hourly rate of pay can be quite competitive due to a shortage of qualified technicians. There's also no need to saddle yourself with student debt as the apprenticeship can be covered by your employer.
What do we have to offer at Maverick Auto Glass?
Apprentices at Maverick Auto Glass will complete an NZQA Level 3, New Zealand Certificate in Automotive Reglazing comprised of 17 unit standards and totalling 106 credits with BCITO. This takes approximately 18 months depending on the individual.

Already experienced as an auto glazier?
We are a company looking to grow and are always interested in hearing from experienced auto glaziers and discussing the possibility of joining our team here at Maverick.

At Maverick Auto Glass we work both in-store at our workshop and mobile out on the road visiting customer sites. Our technicians must be able to work both independently and as a team. Our technicians must also be competent with glass removal and glass lifting devices, as well as possess knowledge of ADAS recalibration systems.
